I just read through this thread and I'm too lazy to find the quote that I'm replying to about how some countries banning alcohol, but my friend is from qatar, and if the government finds you with possession of any alcohol you'll get be fucked, at least seriously fined and arrested. And if you're not a citizen that was born there, then they kick your whole family out of the country, lol.

Well i mean thats in an Arab country. shits probably never been legal. But i mean a lot of them are pretty pissed off people and i wonder why.

however because its always been illegal they dont know what freedom really is. Here we had freedom. You cant just start banning alcohol now. I mean people are yellin to legalize marijuana and your in here talkin bout banning alcohol. That would be about the dumbest thing the govt could think to do right now. Shit would probably cause a civil war if htey banned alcohol. LOL I couldnt even imagine what would happen.

I understand what hes saying, drugs like alcohol, cbbis and tbbco are more addictive, more accepted and ultimatly more frequently used. I think he would be right in saying they are the most dangerous drugs for society. Never heard a guy complain about being assaulted by his LSD Dad.

Never heard about ANYONE being assaulted by his Stoned parent/friend. Seriously, it's practically impossible, it takes far too much effort just to get up, go downstairs and get some munchies so beating someone up is completely out of the question.

I hear about drunken football hooligans beating people half to death, or alchohol feuled husbands beating their wives ALL the time though.

I doubt cannabis would lead to major problems with a capitalist society (eg less people going out and buying things effecting economy) as some people suggested; the rate of stuff bought and ordered online would shoot way up though.

Actually, I've seen stoned people do some things that warrant leaving it illegal. Like driving down the wrong side of the road. Throwing random shit off the top of buildings. Painting random stuff. Stealing, and so on.

So a minority of users who commit minor to mid felonies like that warrent it being kept illegal but the felonies that drinkers commit don't warrent alcohol being made illegal. YEAH 0_o

For 1 old are they? I enjoyed the past time of throwing shit off a building when i was 8 before i even knew what drugs were. Why does throwing shit off a building have to be related to the fact that they are high? people who arent high are just as likely to throw shit off a building.

Stealing? Ive seen plenty of people who were not high steal.

Driving down the wrong side of the road? aGain something a kid would do. Ive done. My fiends have done it. Matter of fact im less likely to do something like tha twhen im high or drunk than sober. Im gonna be a lot more careful if im high cause i know dumb people will blame the drug instead of me.

Again the shit you stated may or may not be directly related to being high. So your inferring sometihng from non factual evidence. Your seeing the things as you want to see them. Not as they actually are.

Haha, your arguing with the wrong guy if your gonna use that tactic. I am not out for making alcohol illegal, but if it did happen it wouldn't bother me much. In other words, I wouldn't see anything wrong with making it illegal if you chose to say that all drugs or intoxicants should be viewed similarly by the law.
