Bleach Episode 244

lol Bleach at this point is all fanservice. Dont complain. I just hope subs come out sooner this week than last week

This ep is major lol material.

I love it how Kenpachi dishes out reiatsu to attack and defend - when it's commonly known fact he has no control over his own reiatsu whatsoever.

Kenpachi literally vaporizes everything and everyone by just freaking standing there.

I'm dissapointed in how incompetent they made Byakuya look in this fight (so much like when he fought Ichigo, heh). He just STOOD there and let Kenpachi hit him.

You couldnt be more wrong. Its a commonly known fact that he can not seal his reiatsu. Ive never seen anything canon saying he cant control it.

Also, to all those babbleing on about fanservice, can you please tell me when Kenpachi became a JP big shot? Ive never seen him listed, save for once (and not even near the top), in the popularity polls commonly put out in the manga. Its always hitsu, ichigo, rukia, Grim etc. From what i can tell, Zaraki fans are mostly outside of japan and I seriously doubt KT pays much attention to the non japan fan base. The Animators might but i doubt that too.

About the ep, ill comment tomorrow when subs come out.

Can you explain what is the meaning and purpose of the eyepatch then?
AFAIK he wears it becasue he cannot control his enormous spiritual pressure, which is the reason why his zanpakuto is constantly released too.

Yeah, this episode was high on fan service, but I don't really care. Filler is filler, so if it can throw some fan service around, that's better than Bount or Amagi garbage. The problem also is that the episode had a lot of dialogue, too. So watching it w/o translations was somewhat pointless. But I needed to do something with the manga spoilers being so damn slow.

Kenpachi Does have an enormous amount of reiatsu. BUT if you remember in episodes 38,39 & 40. the Ichigo vs Kenpachi fight. The fight starts out with kenpachi just standing there and gives Ichigo a free hit, thus showing almost no reiatsu. During the fight as Ichigo gets more serious Kenpachi's Reiatsu starts climbing and by the end of the fight Kenpachi laughs hysterically and tells Ichigo He thinks he can fight him at full power. Kenpachi then removes the eye patch and his spiritual pressure goes thru the roof. So I think Kenpachi does have some ability too control how much he oozes spiritual pressure. just watch the episodes again and you'll understand what i mean.
As for the 2nd item of his sword always bien released. its not. at the during the Kenpachi vs Ichigo fight again, Ep 38,39 & 40. Kenpachi Explains how his zanpakuto is bare arsed naked. When Ichigo goes too The cave too begin his Ban-Ki Training It is explained too him then about the different lvls Shikai and Ban-Ki. This is when Ichigo Learns his sword is always in its released form.

As for ep 244, Without the dubs and not knowing what is being said its hard too comment on. But I agree with other posters that Byakuya seemed a bit weak this ep. Could it be because of His zanpakuto having its own form? who knows. I figured he would have poped a few spells at kenpachi at least. Id have too say Byakuya vs ichigo and vs Kariya were a bit better.
