Your probably right. I think that isshin probably gave ichigo his powers. And if that's the truth if you combine Ichigo's already VAST spiritual pressure with his hollow powers/zangetsu and now possibly engetsu i would say that ichigo even in his (new) shikai form is probably more powerful than The likes of even Yamamoto. And in his new bankai (what ever that will be) he is probably >>>>>>>>>> then anyone we have seen in bleach thus far. BTW ginjo and tukashima have no chance now my prediction is that ichigo slices ginjo's blade right in half and than precedes to make a diagonal slice across ginjo's torso that may or may not slice his entire body in half. As for tukashima ichigo will probably cut both of his arm's off this time and than he may or may not slice him in half as well. Your probably thinking that ichigo wouldn't be that violent but if you remember ichigo has changed alot not to mention ichigo has really never been this pissed before so you never know what he could do.

Of course, as it turns out, it wasn't all rainbows and butterflies, and Ichigo finds himself in a position where trying to protect his family and friends would result in them hating him for it. (Tsukishima is a bastard) Kubo's writing seemed a lot darker this time, and the chapter where Ichigo was running away reminded me of a thriller/horror movie, with more focus on Ichigo's own thoughts and emotions rather than fighting. And then Ichigo suggests KILLING Tsukishima - he didn't even kill Aizen! And Ulquiorra was an accident! That shows how disturbed he is by being on the opposite side his loved ones are on, and how far he's willing to go to save them.

Ichigo outright crying in the last chapter was just icing on the cake. It shows much more depth to his character - when was the last time we saw him cry? Oh yeah, in a flashback where he was nine years old. It shows how DESPERATE he is, how low he's willing to sink (practically BEGGING Ginjou to give him back his Fullbring) for the ability to protect. It starts RAINING - truly symbolic in the way that Zangetsu once commented that whenever Ichigo was sad, it rained in his inner world; his heart.

Wicked chapter. Probably even better for those who dont read every page of the discussion threads the last few months and didnt see this coming but even so, id give it a 10. It kinda felt like I had planned a really epic vacation but I got the agent to book my flight on a random day unknown to me so I just prepare wait really excited, I know its going to come eventually but no idea when, until I get a call saying the flight for my epic vacation is today... And the very first thing that comes to mind is FINALLY.

Things are going nicely :) Rukia, /drool. Ichigos sword looks pretty dangerous.

Cant wait to see more. I cant believe ive read so much without any soul reapers involved.

Correct, the manga will be on hiatus next week. It always happens with this series. Something big happens and we get to wait.

I'm curious to see where this goes, and what happened to this demon guys from the earlier part of this story... Fairly Confused.

Eh...No, its all WSJ manga{Naruto; KH-Reborn; One Piece; whatever else is in it}. They are all on hiatus next week. I find it really odd that people are saying that Isshin gave his powers to Ichigo. There hardly seems to be any evidence to suggest that. The new look of Zangetsu is OBVIOUSLY a combination of the old Zangetsu and Ichigo's new full-bring sword. While Ginjou did say that he was Ichigo's full-bring, the logical answer that he has a sword that resembles his costume change is that most likely there was still residual full-bring spirit left in Ichigo when Rukia punctured Ichigo's lung.

Some people have gone on to claim that Zangetsu now resembles Engetsu, but we never got to see Engetsu in shikai, or rather what we saw of him was never explain, and from what i recall what Zangetsu looks like now, does not resemble what Isshin's sword looked like when he was battling Aizen and during the dangai training.

Also it seems odd, if he really gave his powers to Ichigo, what then was Rukia there for? Because from what we know, Rukia was enough to jump start Ichigo's shinigami life, so it stands to reason that all Ichigo would have needed would have been just Isshin's powers to become a shinigami again, so why would they need reiatsu from Rukia as well?

And i've said this before, but i very much doubt that Isshin will have to give up his powers, because if the coming arc is about it, it is almost certain that he will have to fights some of his old rivals/villains or rather Kubo will make it happen so he can showcase Isshin's prowess, so giving up his powers would be idiotic at best...

I'm 99% sure he hasn't had to give up his powers.

I thought he was scared of him too. I swore I read something towards the end of the HM arc that implied or gave me the feeling that he feared Urahara.

And like I said, what Urahara and Isshin, with Rukia, were doing were gathering the spiritual particles of Zangetsu after the Mugetsu usage, and put it into a spiritual blade, remember, Zanpaktous are spirits after all, they're just made into physical form as a weapon through their shinigami.

So, it's easy to put 2 and 2 together on that one.

Very good call on that one! Very good call :-) I like that idea more than Iishin transferring Engetsu to Ichigo.
