It was a nice chapter and got some action, hopefully next chapter they will be able to finally land an hit on Tobi xD.

Three top level ninjas couldn't even hit Tobi once, in a whole chapter, even though they already knew about his materializing technique, Minato alone figured out his ability, hitted him with a rasengan making him retreat and removed the contract he had with the Kyuubi, all this in one chapter xD.

PS: I may be wrong but it seems Tobi is able to materialize himself more often now than when he fought Konan, at least he dodged multiple attacks in a very short amount of time while also counter attacking, which means he had to change between being solid and not various times in a very small window, while against Konan he couldn't do it that well and so many times.

It seems like Tobi's leveled up, yeah. But I too hope, like you, that they manage to finally land a hit on him next chapter (or just sometime later in the fight, if we focus on something else next chapter). I keep getting worried that Naruto and everyone else will get caught in that genjutsu and that it'll be game over after that. I keep having to console myself by saying that in a lot of stories, the good guys win after the bad guys' plan has already (seemingly) succeeded--they do this for suspense, right? And we also have some other stuff that needs to happen, like the Naruto vs. Sasuke which is likely to happen sometime after the Tobi one.

Once they're caught in the genjutsu, unless it's impossible to break out of since it's apparently going to be the most powerful Tsukuyomi genjutsu ever seen in this manga, Naruto and Bee should be fine since Kurama and Gyuuki (the Hachibi) should be able to help them break the genjutsu. Kakashi and Gai can cancel genjutsu themselves, but if even a normal Tsukuyomi from Itachi was too much for Kakashi, I don't see him escaping the more powerful one that Tobi wants to cast. So Bee and/or Naruto might have to help. But they could also avoid being caught altogether, probably, if they can go through the whole fight without looking at the moon (since Tobi will cast the genjutsu through the moon).

Anyway, the chapter had pretty good action. And I liked how Naruto was able to form a mini Bijuu Dama Rasengan.

By the way, guys, I was just thinking: if Naruto manages to survive his fight against Sasuke that's bound to come up eventually (whether he kills him or just brings back alive, perhaps as a prisoner of war), is it likely that he'll be made Hokage? I'm thinking Sixth, since Danzou's appointment didn't count. None of the Jounin voted, and even if they had, Danzou would've lost the votes since Kakashi said that none of the Jounin would vote in Danzou's favor. And Tsunade also never died or retired, she just had to rest for a while. I doubt Danzou would ever be called the the Sixth Hokage. If so, then if Naruto succeeds Tsunade, he'll be the Sixth. But it's possible that the one to succeed Tsunade will be Kakashi, and then Naruto after him. What do you guys think?

If there's a happy ending then Naruto may become Hokage, or perhaps something bigger, there may be a few more stories to tell after Naruto VS Sasuke, so whether or not Naruto becomes a kage depends on what's to come I suppose.

Naruto's biggest dream in life has always been to become Hokage, so the series will most likely end with him as Hokage. And it does seem likely the series was leading up to the fated final battle between the two rivals, Naruto and Sasuke, since the get-go. The Uzumaki Clan is said to be distantly related to the Senjuu Clan, and Kushina's great-great grandmother Mito was married to the First Hokage, which I think makes Naruto and Kushina even more linked to the Senjuu Clan by blood than any other member of the Uzumaki Clan, probably.

One of the things this series seems to also be about is the old rivalry between the current descendents of the Sage's two sons, the Uchiha and the Senjuu. Tobi even went as far as to say that he sees Hashirama in Naruto. So yeah, to me, it does seem like the series was leading up mainly to the inevitable final clash between Naruto and Sasuke.

But I gotta wonder, what's Madara going to do? He's practically immortal. Unless he for some reason decides to release the Edo Tensei on himself and finally move the hell on, he's going to stay until the world in the series ends.

great fast paced fight chapter.
I was hoping to tobi use some attacks insted up just phasing in and out and swinging that sword around.
I dont get how naruto can still use kyubi mode and mae clones when he was uspposed to almost be out of chakra chapters ago

@b-i,,i dont think kakashi will be hokage unless tsunade dies in this war,is hes hakage awhile longer naruto should mature enough to step in right after her

Maybe Tobi will be defeated and then Madara comes to the rescue? Madara apparently plans to head towards Naruto, but is it a coincidence that Madara happens to decide this when Tobi plans to resurrect the Juubi? I think not, I sense a plot device.

The air has an eery chill to it; almost making me not want to breathe. The landscape is an open flat area surrounded by narrow,and jagged looking mountains with no way to climb or even see over. In the center is a massive throne where I can usually find Akuma no Tatchi sitting. Sealed Spoiler: Standard Katana Length- 42in. The wrapping is maroon with 2 tassels hanging on the top side of the handle. The tsuba (Pommel) is a made of silver and an odd black colored metal. On top of the black metal is a yellow jewel. The guard is rectangular and has two images of a demon's right hand. The sheath is also a maroon color and has a steel cap on the end that is angled and sharpened. The blade is made out of the same black metal used in the pommel. Shikai Spoiler: Handle length-12in. Blade length- 42in. The wrapping on the handle is maroon, and has the same tassels hanging on the handle. The tsuba is longer and has more of the black metal spread out with silver inlays around it and has a large round yellow jewel on top. The hand guard is still rectangular but has 2 points that stick out on the top and bottom sides. The points have somewhat of an edge. The blade resembles the blade of a scythe and is made out of the black metal. Attacks Spoiler: Namakemono no Tatchi-Touch of Sloth the Touch of Sloth concentrates reiryoku to the very tip of the blade. When the blade connects with an opponent's arm or leg, that part begins to move a lot slower than it normally would. If my Zan touches an opponent in the torso area the Touch of Sloth will randomly attack a limb of it's choosing. The effects of the Touch of Sloth last for around 15 minutes. After striking a limb more than once, the time which it lasts will decrease by 1 minute after every strike to the opponent. Ikari no Tatchi-Touch of Wrath The Touch of Wrath concentrates reiryoku along the edge of the blade and when it connects with target, it releases the energy as a small explosion that damages the limb it made contact with. The explosion is enough to knock the opponent off balance. It will not destroy the limb, but will do damage. It could be compared to the damage done by a Bala. *The blade has to connect with the target or the attack won't work* Yokubo No Tatchi-Touch of Lust The Touch of Lust creates an Heated energy shield that will hold off the force of the full force of an energy based attack from a shikai level zanpakuto. It will block Ice based attacks but is useless against fire based attacks both at shikai level. Bankai Aku mao no Tatchi- The Devil King's Touch When my Bankai is activated a faint laugh can be heard coming from my Zan as I let go of the handle. It begins to levitate then with a burst reiatsu turning the sky red. Following the instant this happens, all the reiatsu to burst out, all the reiryoku gets sucked back into the Zan changing its shape into the Aku mao no Tatchi Spoiler: Handle Length-52in. Blade Length-42in. The handle becomes longer becomes a solid maroon color. The brace that holds the blade to the handle still retains it's rectangular shape. A small diamond shaped spear point appears on the top of the handle. It still has the same type of pommel that was on the Shikai form. The blade is just moved to the top where it takes the form of a scythe. A smaller blade begins to stick out on the opposite side of the main blade. the smaller blade can only be used for basic attacks. Attacks Spoiler: Namakemono no O Tatchi-King's Touch of Sloth The King's Touch of Sloth concentrates reiryoku to the point of the blade. When connected with an opponent, the attack is similar to the shikai version but it will attack their entire body causing them to move slower than normal. The effects last over a time period of 10 minutes. This attack can be used multiple times. Ikari no O Tatchi-King's Touch of Wrath The King's touch of Wrath concentrates the energy along the edge of blade and when it connects with a target, it sends out energy in a explosion causing massive damage to the target that received the blow. can also use the normal Touch of Wrath. There is a faint, eerie glow however, due to there being a group of extremely dense storm clouds present in the sky, from which high voltage lightning comes out to scorch the ground. There are also strong and violent gales that constantly blow in this inner world. The storm clouds almost always have in them thunderstorms that have black lightning with a dark-blue outline. That black lightning within the inner world is itself Kokuraimaru. He is everywhere within this realm, as an almost omnipresent being. As he is made purely of lightning, he is actually able to take virtually any form he wants (note: this ability does not translate into Shikai or Bankai; it is Kokuraimaru's ability alone). Whenever I go into my inner world outside of Bankai, Kokuraimaru would take his lightning form out of the other places and present most of it in front of me temporarily in the form of free-flowing lightning (for the amount of time that I am in the inner world). He was not always a Zanpakutō Spirit. Originally, he was Raijin, the Japanese Shinto god of storms, thunder and lightning. He "died" and later reincarnated as my Zanpakutō with some help from Ouetsu (creator of Zanpakutō) in the process of becoming my Zanpakutō, according to what he's told me. He has a companion wolf made of the same dark blue energy as he is, with his body wrapped in lightning. His name is Kokuraiko ([黒雷子] Dark Lightning Child) and he is an incarnation of Raijū, who is said to be a companion of Raijin in Japanese mythology and Shintoism. Whenever black thunderstorms are occurring, he gets agitated and creates trouble within this Realm. Kokuraimaru has to flex his reiatsu to calm him down. Sometimes, when that is not enough, I have to weigh in with my own reiatsu. In character, Kokuraimaru is kind and strong-willed, but is sometimes easily angered. When we get into arguments, there are times when he tends to get a little cranky when he is unable to get the last word and/or "win" the argument. He also has a very bad habit of coming off as arrogant without meaning to, oftentimes. Kokuraiko is the same in personality as Kokuraimaru. When we spar, he takes the form of a man wielding his Shikai sword. When I visit the inner world in Bankai, there is a noticeable change in the inner world to represent that: the complete lack of black thunderstorms due to the fact that, in Bankai, he is permanently in his "human" form, as a master swordsman Spirit that is 6ft in height, has almost no weight due to being lightning, and blue eyes and blue-black hair that reaches down to his waist, hanging loose (untied). In his "human" form, he is dressed in a samurai get-up that is enough of a darker blue that it looks almost black, except he is barefoot. He wields the same sword I have in Bankai. The belt on the outfit is black, with the kanji for "black" on the left strap of the belt tie and the kanji for "lightning" on the right one. Kokuraimaru is ancient himself, but his "human" form looks to still be in his 20s, and is also seemingly lean and well-built. On his back, with their top sides facing forward, are three black drums with three tomoe on each of them. There are no drumsticks to go with the drums, but they are not needed as Kokuraimaru is able to beat on them with just the force of his reiatsu alone (is translated into Bankai as well; it's not that I do this with my own reiatsu, it's still Kokuraimaru (no Kenshi) himself who does). When Kokuraimaru is in this form, Kokuraiko likes to sit either on his head or on his right shoulder. Sealed Form: A daicho (Japanese long sword). The hilt of the sword is dark blue, 5 inches long with a black ray-skin under the hilt-wrapping. The cross-guard is circular, with a picture of multiple lightning bolts engraved into it. The blade of the sword is 8 inches long, coming out of a black collar. In the middle of the blade are inscribed two symbols; one being that of Raijū's face, and the other being that of three tomoe. The sheath is dark blue, with the kanji for "lightning" printed on the up-facing part in black color. For a reason that was unknown until Shikai, the sword doesn't seem to have much of a weight at all, and seems to require multiple slashes made at high-speed, as it doesn't have enough cutting power to deal a decisive blow in one slash. Shikai: Spoiler: Release Command Hikare to Shūgeki! Kokuraimaru! [光れと襲撃! 黒雷丸! (Flash and Strike! Dark Lightning!)] Release Animation: I hold the sword in a guard stance and call out its Release Command and name. There is a loud thunder clap that can be heard, along with a flash of lightning coming from the sword, and in the next instant, the onlooker can see the following changes: Appearance of Shikai: Spoiler: Same daicho as the Sealed state, except with a 1 and a half inch longer dark blue blade coming out of a black collar, with the hilt also being one inch longer. The blade is made of electrically charged reishi that is in the form of a highly conductive metal, tampered to be extremely light (lighter than it was in Sealed State). As the blade in Sealed State was being covered by an insulated material, the true nature of the blade was hidden and its weight was slightly increased. The Shikai sword still requires the wielder to execute multiple slashes done at high-speeds, as even though it is sharp enough to cut, it is still weaker in power than other swords but can allow for multiple slashes done at high-speeds, the damage of which accumulates to deal high amounts of cutting damage from the blade. Abilities of Shikai: Spoiler: This Zanpakutō has the power to control lightning, electricity and thunder (can create thunder as well). Whenever thunder is created, the tomoe and Raijū face symbols on the blade start to glow with a light that is a slightly lighter blue than the blade itself. When already existing thunder is controlled, only the face of the Raijū glows. The Raijū's face also glows whenever Kokuraiko is helping with the abilities to make them powerful or effective (depends on the nature of the ability). As long as there are still protons and electrons in the surroundings within a radius of 2-3 inches from both me and the sword, the electricity on the blade will (almost) never run out. Due to the make-up of the blade, when it cuts the opponent, it also delivers a ticklish-type shock. Ability 1: Kokuraigeki [黒雷打] (Black Lightning Strike): When I want to use this ability, I have the electricity on the blade produce a strong static charge that is discharged as lightning from the tip of the blade. The power and amount of electricity on the blade, when using this technique, can be controlled at will, so that the lightning produced can be controlled. Immediately after having used this attack, some of the strong electric charge will be left on the blade, and before it runs out (in 3-4 seconds' time), I'm able to use that to deal a bit more of a zapping effect than normal through my melee attack(s). Ability 2 (Passive): Raipo [雷歩] (Lightning Step): This is an ability that I have due to the light weight of the sword, as well as the focus in high-speed melee attacks. I can't use Shunpo in conjunction with this. This is a variation of Shunpo that increases my running speed by that of lightning. In Shikai, I get a speed increase of half the speed of lightning in reality, even though it's called "speed of lightning". Ability 3 (Active): Raiken [雷剣] (Lightning Sword): Whenever there is a thunderstorm occurring near me, and I'm close enough, I can take control over some of the thunder and lightning within it. I have my sword conduct the electricity from the lightning to strike at my opponent(s) with it from the sword, or have it strike them from where it already was to begin with. I can only do this to affect thunder and lightning within a 2 and half mile radius distance of me and my sword. Bankai: Spoiler: Name of Bankai: Kokuraimaru no Kenshi [黒雷丸の剣士 (Dark Lightning the Master Swordsman)] Release Animation for Bankai: I hold my sword with one hand, pointed towards my opponent(s), and call out the words, "Ban Kai!" An almost deafening thunder clap is heard, and both my sword and I release a powerful torrent of reiatsu that looks like black lightning with a dark blue outline. When the lightning fades and my form is once again clearly visible, the appearance of my Bankai is seen. . . . Appearance of Bankai: Spoiler: In Bankai, the Zanpakutō splits into four parts; two gloves that reach up to right below the elbows and two unarmored boots that reach up to right below the knees. The gloves and shoes are both dark blue, and are made of the same electrically charged reishi as the Shikai blade; they are further tampered with than the sword's blade so that they are flexible enough for me to have full freedom and ease of movement in the parts of my limbs that the pieces of tampered metal are on. The Bankai also gives me a shirt and belt that are similar to the ones the Spirit wears in Bankai form. The same sword from the Shikai is also present, though the power and amount of control I have is greater/augmented (explained in detail a bit later). On the arm parts of the gloves are the same tomoe symbols as the blade; the inscription of the Raijū is now complete, showing a mini picture of a whole Raijū. On my back appear the same three drums from the Spirit description, facing forward so that the three tomoe that are on the top of each of the drums show. In Bankai, the dark blue outline looks almost pure black. This carries on to the shoes and gloves, making them also appear to be almost pure black, and the blade is also the same color due to being practically made of the same black lightning. Abilities of Bankai: Spoiler: The same abilities from the Shikai are carried over and powered up 5x. In Bankai, the electricity on my Zanpakutō can regenerate as long as there are still protons and electrons present in the surroundings within a radius of 5 inches around both me and my sword. The gloves and boots, as well as the sword in Bankai, work pretty much the same as the Shikai sword on how to use the lightning attacks. The power and amount of electricity on the surface of the gloves and boots/shoes, as well as on the sword can now always be controlled at will at all times, and the potential voltage and the maximum power and amount of current is 5x greater when compared to Shikai. The range of the "Raiken" technique's influence is increased in Bankai; it is now possible to control all of the thunder and lightning within any given naturally occurring thunderstorm. The attacks I can use with this Bankai are possible with either my blade, my hand(s), and/or my foot/feet. I can use either of those at any given time for any of my electrical or lightning type attacks. The "Raipo" ability is now able to literally increase my running speed that I augment with my reiatsu by that of lightning. It is still impossible to use Shunpo with Raipo. The tomoe and Raijū inscriptions act up the same way, as well as on the same occasions, as in Shikai. Kokuraiko's help in making the abilities more efficient/powerful is also a greater. This Bankai has two additional attacks; Attack 1: Kokuraigeki Jitai no Ni: Kuroi Arashi [黒雷打代表の二: 黒嵐] (Black Lightning Strike Type 2: Black Storm): Basically, I turn existing clouds into cumulonimbus clouds through static energy build-up, then use my own spiritual energy to take control of the thunder and lightning. Thunderstorms created through this technique spread over a 6.5 mile radius around both me and the opponent in all directions (gets bigger as needed when fighting multiple opponents). Attack 2: Kokuseiryokuhō [黒勢砲] (Dark Energy Cannon): This attack takes all of the electrons from either the sword or one of the gloves, compresses and condenses them, and then fires them at the opponent. And it does seem likely the series was leading up to the fated final battle between the two rivals, Naruto and Sasuke, since the get-go. The Uzumaki Clan is said to be distantly related to the Senjuu Clan, and Kushina's great-great grandmother Mito was married to the First Hokage, which I think makes Naruto and Kushina even more linked to the Senjuu Clan by blood than any other member of the Uzumaki Clan, probably. One of the things this series seems to also be about is the old rivalry between the current descendents of the Sage's two sons, the Uchiha and the Senjuu. Tobi even went as far as to say that he sees Hashirama in Naruto. So yeah, to me, it does seem like the series was leading up mainly to the inevitable final clash between Naruto and Sasuke. But I gotta wonder, what's Madara going to do? He's practically immortal. There is a faint, eerie glow however, due to there being a group of extremely dense storm clouds present in the sky, from which high voltage lightning comes out to scorch the ground. There are also strong and violent gales that constantly blow in this inner world. The storm clouds almost always have in them thunderstorms that have black lightning with a dark-blue outline. That black lightning within the inner world is itself Kokuraimaru. He is everywhere within this realm, as an almost omnipresent being. As he is made purely of lightning, he is actually able to take virtually any form he wants (note: this ability does not translate into Shikai or Bankai; it is Kokuraimaru's ability alone). Whenever I go into my inner world outside of Bankai, Kokuraimaru would take his lightning form out of the other places and present most of it in front of me temporarily in the form of free-flowing lightning (for the amount of time that I am in the inner world). He was not always a Zanpakutō Spirit. Originally, he was Raijin, the Japanese Shinto god of storms, thunder and lightning. He "died" and later reincarnated as my Zanpakutō with some help from Ouetsu (creator of Zanpakutō) in the process of becoming my Zanpakutō, according to what he's told me. He has a companion wolf made of the same dark blue energy as he is, with his body wrapped in lightning. His name is Kokuraiko ([黒雷子] Dark Lightning Child) and he is an incarnation of Raijū, who is said to be a companion of Raijin in Japanese mythology and Shintoism. Whenever black thunderstorms are occurring, he gets agitated and creates trouble within this Realm. Kokuraimaru has to flex his reiatsu to calm him down. Sometimes, when that is not enough, I have to weigh in with my own reiatsu. In character, Kokuraimaru is kind and strong-willed, but is sometimes easily angered. When we get into arguments, there are times when he tends to get a little cranky when he is unable to get the last word and/or "win" the argument. He also has a very bad habit of coming off as arrogant without meaning to, oftentimes. Kokuraiko is the same in personality as Kokuraimaru. When we spar, he takes the form of a man wielding his Shikai sword. When I visit the inner world in Bankai, there is a noticeable change in the inner world to represent that: the complete lack of black thunderstorms due to the fact that, in Bankai, he is permanently in his "human" form, as a master swordsman Spirit that is 6ft in height, has almost no weight due to being lightning, and blue eyes and blue-black hair that reaches down to his waist, hanging loose (untied). In his "human" form, he is dressed in a samurai get-up that is enough of a darker blue that it looks almost black, except he is barefoot. He wields the same sword I have in Bankai. The belt on the outfit is black, with the kanji for "black" on the left strap of the belt tie and the kanji for "lightning" on the right one. Kokuraimaru is ancient himself, but his "human" form looks to still be in his 20s, and is also seemingly lean and well-built. On his back, with their top sides facing forward, are three black drums with three tomoe on each of them. There are no drumsticks to go with the drums, but they are not needed as Kokuraimaru is able to beat on them with just the force of his reiatsu alone (is translated into Bankai as well; it's not that I do this with my own reiatsu, it's still Kokuraimaru (no Kenshi) himself who does). When Kokuraimaru is in this form, Kokuraiko likes to sit either on his head or on his right shoulder. Sealed Form: A daicho (Japanese long sword). The hilt of the sword is dark blue, 5 inches long with a black ray-skin under the hilt-wrapping. The cross-guard is circular, with a picture of multiple lightning bolts engraved into it. The blade of the sword is 8 inches long, coming out of a black collar. In the middle of the blade are inscribed two symbols; one being that of Raijū's face, and the other being that of three tomoe. The sheath is dark blue, with the kanji for "lightning" printed on the up-facing part in black color. For a reason that was unknown until Shikai, the sword doesn't seem to have much of a weight at all, and seems to require multiple slashes made at high-speed, as it doesn't have enough cutting power to deal a decisive blow in one slash. Shikai: Spoiler: Release Command Hikare to Shūgeki! Kokuraimaru! [光れと襲撃! 黒雷丸! (Flash and Strike! Dark Lightning!)] Release Animation: I hold the sword in a guard stance and call out its Release Command and name. There is a loud thunder clap that can be heard, along with a flash of lightning coming from the sword, and in the next instant, the onlooker can see the following changes: Appearance of Shikai: Spoiler: Same daicho as the Sealed state, except with a 1 and a half inch longer dark blue blade coming out of a black collar, with the hilt also being one inch longer. The blade is made of electrically charged reishi that is in the form of a highly conductive metal, tampered to be extremely light (lighter than it was in Sealed State). As the blade in Sealed State was being covered by an insulated material, the true nature of the blade was hidden and its weight was slightly increased. The Shikai sword still requires the wielder to execute multiple slashes done at high-speeds, as even though it is sharp enough to cut, it is still weaker in power than other swords but can allow for multiple slashes done at high-speeds, the damage of which accumulates to deal high amounts of cutting damage from the blade. Abilities of Shikai: Spoiler: This Zanpakutō has the power to control lightning, electricity and thunder (can create thunder as well). Whenever thunder is created, the tomoe and Raijū face symbols on the blade start to glow with a light that is a slightly lighter blue than the blade itself. When already existing thunder is controlled, only the face of the Raijū glows. The Raijū's face also glows whenever Kokuraiko is helping with the abilities to make them powerful or effective (depends on the nature of the ability). As long as there are still protons and electrons in the surroundings within a radius of 2-3 inches from both me and the sword, the electricity on the blade will (almost) never run out. Due to the make-up of the blade, when it cuts the opponent, it also delivers a ticklish-type shock. Ability 1: Kokuraigeki [黒雷打] (Black Lightning Strike): When I want to use this ability, I have the electricity on the blade produce a strong static charge that is discharged as lightning from the tip of the blade. The power and amount of electricity on the blade, when using this technique, can be controlled at will, so that the lightning produced can be controlled. Immediately after having used this attack, some of the strong electric charge will be left on the blade, and before it runs out (in 3-4 seconds' time), I'm able to use that to deal a bit more of a zapping effect than normal through my melee attack(s). Ability 2 (Passive): Raipo [雷歩] (Lightning Step): This is an ability that I have due to the light weight of the sword, as well as the focus in high-speed melee attacks. I can't use Shunpo in conjunction with this. This is a variation of Shunpo that increases my running speed by that of lightning. In Shikai, I get a speed increase of half the speed of lightning in reality, even though it's called "speed of lightning". Ability 3 (Active): Raiken [雷剣] (Lightning Sword): Whenever there is a thunderstorm occurring near me, and I'm close enough, I can take control over some of the thunder and lightning within it. I have my sword conduct the electricity from the lightning to strike at my opponent(s) with it from the sword, or have it strike them from where it already was to begin with. I can only do this to affect thunder and lightning within a 2 and half mile radius distance of me and my sword. Bankai: Spoiler: Name of Bankai: Kokuraimaru no Kenshi [黒雷丸の剣士 (Dark Lightning the Master Swordsman)] Release Animation for Bankai: I hold my sword with one hand, pointed towards my opponent(s), and call out the words, "Ban Kai!" An almost deafening thunder clap is heard, and both my sword and I release a powerful torrent of reiatsu that looks like black lightning with a dark blue outline. When the lightning fades and my form is once again clearly visible, the appearance of my Bankai is seen. . . . Appearance of Bankai: Spoiler: In Bankai, the Zanpakutō splits into four parts; two gloves that reach up to right below the elbows and two unarmored boots that reach up to right below the knees. The gloves and shoes are both dark blue, and are made of the same electrically charged reishi as the Shikai blade; they are further tampered with than the sword's blade so that they are flexible enough for me to have full freedom and ease of movement in the parts of my limbs that the pieces of tampered metal are on. The Bankai also gives me a shirt and belt that are similar to the ones the Spirit wears in Bankai form. The same sword from the Shikai is also present, though the power and amount of control I have is greater/augmented (explained in detail a bit later). On the arm parts of the gloves are the same tomoe symbols as the blade; the inscription of the Raijū is now complete, showing a mini picture of a whole Raijū. On my back appear the same three drums from the Spirit description, facing forward so that the three tomoe that are on the top of each of the drums show. In Bankai, the dark blue outline looks almost pure black. This carries on to the shoes and gloves, making them also appear to be almost pure black, and the blade is also the same color due to being practically made of the same black lightning. Abilities of Bankai: Spoiler: The same abilities from the Shikai are carried over and powered up 5x. In Bankai, the electricity on my Zanpakutō can regenerate as long as there are still protons and electrons present in the surroundings within a radius of 5 inches around both me and my sword. The gloves and boots, as well as the sword in Bankai, work pretty much the same as the Shikai sword on how to use the lightning attacks. The power and amount of electricity on the surface of the gloves and boots/shoes, as well as on the sword can now always be controlled at will at all times, and the potential voltage and the maximum power and amount of current is 5x greater when compared to Shikai. My stuff Spoiler: My Zanpakto Spoiler: Name:Un no sono Hyō kami ヒョウ神の運 (Luck of the panther God) Element: dust/hair Type:close combat Focus: agility Realm and spirit Spoiler: Un no sono Hyō kami's realm is a vast system of caverns.Inside it's completely dark.The only light visible is a faint luminous grey-green light that comes from the various ponds. Un no sono Hyō kami takes two forms,the inner world form,and the outer world form. His inner world form is that of two giant glowing grey-green eyes that look down at me from the above darkness. When he speaks his voice echo's thru the cavern. His outer world appearance is that of a giant etheral black panther.On all fours he stands 5 feet tall and 18 feet in length.When he moves,grey dust falls from his pelt making it seem as though he's surrounded by a cloud of dust. Sealed form Spoiler: Un no sono Hyō kami is an 18 inch wakizashi blade.The blade is silver with a black tsuka ito grip.In its sealed form it has no guard. Shikai Spoiler: Name:Neko Bast no shizen 要素の猫神 (Cat God of elements) Release command:Hunt! Neko Bast no shizen! Release form Spoiler: It is still an 18 inch wakizashi blade.But the blade is now black with a grey tsuka ito grip.It now has a circular guard made out of grey hair with grey hair protruding from between the tsuka ito straps.The hair looks soft and fluffy but is actually razor sharp. It has an 8 inch long grey tail attached to the bottom of the hilt. Release animation Spoiler: I hold my sword in front of me with both hands;the blade pointed straight up. As I say my release command,I bring my right hand straight down from the hilt.As I do so a grey tail appears going down,and the blade changes going up. Abilities Spoiler: As I fight,the hair from Un no sono Hyō kami's tail infused with my reishi gradually sheds into the air, grey dust also sheds from the hilt of my sword as I fight,mixing with, and controlling dust. My ability also controls any reishi that is airborn as well,mixing with, and strengthening the reishi of my hairs. I have complete control of these particles as well as the elements within the dust and can use them for various attacks. The amount of hair shed by my tail is dependent on the amount of damage and spiritual energy I use in battle. The more hair shed the stronger my attacks.But if the tail completely dissipates my sword will revert back into sealed state. In an extended battle the grey dust shed by my sword can also cause a obscuring effect confusing my opponent. Ability#1,Kidou tsume 機動爪 (kidou claw) This is a kidou attack I created my self. I flood my blade with kidou and the blade briefly splits into a 5 bladed state with the other 4 blades being composed of kidou. Ability#2,Shippo muchi しっぽをふる(tail whip) This is the only ability I can use immediately after shikai release.This is the ability to extend Un no sono Hyō kami's tail up to 5 times its length instantly.It also makes the hair on its tail razor sharp briefly. Ability#3,Kami bakuhatsu 髪の爆発(hair explosion) This ability is to cause the hairs that Un no sono Hyō kami's tail has shed to explode. The hairs infused with my reishi glow grey-green when activated and create a bunch of tiny micro explosions. This attack can be used for disorientation,or as a shrapnel type attack with the hairs piercing the skin before exploding. Ability#3,Gyanburu no keiro kousa パスのギャンブルは、交差 (Gamble of paths crossed) This is an elemental attack. The type of attack is based upon the elements in the dust my hairs have acquired,as well as the type advantage and disadvantage of my opponent. The strength of this attack is based upon the amount of bad luck my opponent has built up,which is determined my the amount of times our zanpakto's spiritual pressures have crossed paths after the realease of my shikai. Bankai Spoiler: Name:Yami no kasha 闇のカーシャ(kasha of darkness) Release command: Bankai,descend! Yomi no kasha A kasha is a Japanese creature of myth.It is a cat that descends from the sky to carry away corpses.When I call Yomi no kasha.I'm referring to my opponent as a corpse to be carried away. release form Spoiler: Still an 18 inch wakizashi blade.The blade is now grey with a black tsuka ito grip.The guard is now circular with black hair,and there is black hair protruding from between the tsuki ito straps. There is now a 12 inch black tail attached to the bottom of the grip. Release animation Spoiler: As soon as i say my command,the tail on my hilt explodes and briefly surrounds me with a grey-green cloud of dust.When the cloud dissipates,my sword has changed. Abilities: Spoiler: My speed and destructive power increase 5x's Ability#1,Seikatsu saisei 9生命再生 (9 lives regeneration) This ability allows me to heal cuts and open wounds.It cannot grow back missing limbs or organs. It instantly activates on bankai release and i can use it up to 8 times after. Ability#2,Iki dorobou nemasen 息泥棒睡眠 (breath thief sleep) This ability can only be used when I'm over half way thru my released state.This attack allows me to attack my opponents lungs directly. As well as dust,Yami no kasha's ability also gives me power over dust mites,which i can use with this attack to either collapse my opponents respiratory system all together or I can cause the dust mites infused with my reitsu to explode. Ability#4,kasha atama kugeki カーシャの頭の攻撃 (kasha head attack) My final and most powerful attack.It can only be used when I'm near the end of my final released state. All the reiatsu,hairs,and dust I've released into the air collects unto my body,covering me from head to toe giving me the appearance of a black panther surrounded by a grey mist. On my right shoulder is the head of the kasha which looks infused with my shoulder,The eyes of this head glow grey/green,and grey dust and reiatsu pour out of its mouth. In this mode I can choose to fight for 180 seconds with all of my abilities 10X's stronger,or I can choose to unleash the full power of my bankai in one final attack. With the final attack the head of the kasha moves down my arm from the shoulder taking all the hair,dust,and reiatsu collected on my body as I swing my sword,exploding off of my sword in the form of a giant kasha head which swallows my enemy and carries them into the air before exploding.
