Kirge actually absorbed Allon at the end of their fight, so the Quincies must be able to absorb reiatsu at some level. Look at what Sun Sun says near the middle of the page,

So if Kirge can absorb Allon, it's probably a safe bet that the top Quincies can do it even better.

What I am talking about is the reiatsu that pours off of and around Kenpachi as he fights. I don't think we've seen a Quincy absorb anyones actual reiatsu straight out of them.

Also, this chapter is important because the Quincy did admit(on Page 10) that they are still subject to the power level rule that Aizen introduce. I imagine that Kenpachi's power level is high enough to prevent a Quincy from just absorbing him or sucking his reiatsu out of him.
