So the 20 year tradition continues with not a single team winning the CL with back to back seasons sinc then. Milito's 2nd goal was expertly taken.

On a lesser note also I am happy that Blackpool made it to the EPL though they are clear favourites to drop next season but should be a fun season for them after the summer.

And also regards to the World Cup which is incredibly close now, Argentina will not include Cambiasso? wtf? I mean Mascherano is great and apparently Veron has been very good the past few seasons also but why leaving such a good player out just baffles me.

ECL: decent game, inter deserve their victory but bayern apart fom robben and altintops work effort were poor, really poor. Always thought millito was a great player and he's consistently shown it at the top level this year, great for him. Mourinho will be in the same stadium next year and could possibly be in the final again.

Inter deserved to win CL this year, no matter how troll-y you feel meta tactically astute and large squad of good players against a team that doesn't have the sense to cross high balls into the box when you have two of the biggest leapers in the game. Well it's like mourinho says, it's harder to play well and win then to just play and win something like that. Yes it wasn't an entertaining match but football is about winning for these two teams anyway, even if it's ugly. In football you need to defend and attack with strength, unless you have messi.
