Hmm nice perspective LOL. Never looked at it in that way. Yesterday's game was imba. Im a Gunner. I enjoyed watching the Liverfools try their luck. How can Rafa be so stupid. Because after the comments he made last week about Liverpool beating Arsenal and starting with a new League record of being unstopable... I think he feels like the biggest douche now.

Nah we have been on a pretty good boat LOL And Wenger is the best thing that has ever happened to Arsenal. Our boys are young. I say give them a few years, then they will be top noch. At least we arent 7th on the BPL and we keep our 3rd place consistent.

I fully agree that in a few years most of arsenals players will develope into some decent talent but for the last couple of seasons i've been wondering, is wenger is putting too much fate in his young players besides investing in the few 'ole heads for the team.
Vierra, henry lungberg and bergkamp, all these players had skill and experiance and really delivered, the young players on the other hand find it difficult at times. That being said great football though. :) |

True. But those big names want lotsa cash paper money! And after the Emirates Stadium we were in some kinda pinch. So I understand why he let the others go. Money talks.
But alas. As you've said, great footie! |

Surely it's costing the club a small fortune to keep the likes of van persie and fabergas there. Bacelona have been after cesc for years and one would think that wenger would have to throw alot of money his way to keep him happy.

No doubt if Arsenal were 7th in the league, out of the Champions League and effectively out of the title race before Christmas people would be on Wenger's back as well. I think the Liverpool squad just needs a complete revamp. Benitez has spent a lot of money but only the likes of Torres, Gerrard and perhaps Mascherano and maybe Reina would break into Manchester United, Chelsea or Arsenal's first team and for a team challenging for major honours that a little worrying imo. His scouting network needs to be fired.

....sorry about that.
Being honest paragon do you see arsenal contending for any silverware this season? They'll be entertaining sure but they are not strong enough to keep up with the consistant form of united and chealsea. Maybe they can prove me wrong this year but if it's more of the same they are throwing our way then they'll crash and burn during the second half of the season. |
