Chelsea v Villa in the semi's for the FA cup, should be good, Portsmouth V spurs or Fulham. Good to see that a "smaller" club might get to lift the cup, you'd really expect Chelsea to win though.

agreed, although that the netherlands are on par with them i would say. I mean when you watched EC 2008 they just destroyed Italy and France + They've won every match in the qualifications with only 2 goals scored against them

Did so, am a Valencia fan after all...

The atmosphere of that match was indeed something to remember, 1st-minute Mata goal and extra-time Pablo brace ensured Los Che a place in the last 16.

They'll face Bremen this thursday. Hopefully we have the advantage since the first leg match will be played in Mestalla.

The dutch had a piss easy group. They have a dodgy back line which will be exposed later on. The first decent team they face at the world cup and they are going home, in short spain and most world class teams will rip them apart.

4-0, rooney is the hottest thing around at the moment.

4-0 is revenge for those two times Milan have knocked us out of the Champions League. Rooney is the best striker in Europe at this moment in time. I hope his form remains.

Yeah, he's hotter than the 100m pounds man & Messi atm.
Obviously Perez was once again reminded that money alone, doesn't bring in trophies. I was kinda glad Real Madrid's out.

Rooney's brace yesterday was again a perfect example that he is just unstoppable atm, i really hope he can carry that on at the World Cup, gives England a very good shot at winning it but time will tell.

But i feel sorry for Beckham, even though i dont think he would be in the starting eleven he can be handy as a sub with his crossing ability for the last 20-25 mins of a game, shame really but at the very least we got plenty of options for that flank assuming players stay injury free.
