well, it seems that Hitsugaya has a new technique in ban kai mode, I have to say that yeah I like his new technique but it's not all that original when you compare it to the likes of Yumichika's true shi kai, it was sort of a repeat, but it does fit to an extent, especially considering that the flowers that rained down seemed to be the same type of flowers that make up his limiters, and I was pleasantly surprised at Kyouraku saying that given about 100 years, Hitsugaya and his ban kai will be stronger than Kyouraku's is.

also, I have to say that Gin and Hitsugaya are pretty evenly matched in terms of fighting at the moment, why?

well Gin is a prodigy and he has had a ton more experience than Hitusgaya does, but Gin wasn't made a captain as quickly as Hitsu was, so in my mind it seems as though Hitsugaya showed more talent or skill than Gin did, hence why Gin wasn't a captain as quickly as Hitsu was. but they are indeed both prodigies and it seems that in shi kai mode they are definitely evenly matched (as shown by kudo during their fight) but the question is about their ban kais, we don't know anything about Gin's ban kai, but I think that Hitsugaya can stay on even footing with Gin in ban kai mode, just given all the techniques and attacks we've seen from Hitsugaya in ban kai mode, it seems very possible, but I don't think we'll know for sure unless they either have a rematch or kubo shows a heck of a lot about gin and his ban kai, but I don't think hitsugaya could stay on an even footing with gin if gin had/has hollow powers, why? because that's too much of a power up for gin to have against hitsugaya, unless hitsu has years and years more of experience.

Bullshit. Gin could be a Captain faster, but Aizen had to find "replacements" for him. He was promoted shortly after rescueing Hinamori, Renji and Kira. Then Aizen started indoctrination of Kira and Hinamori.

Don't understimate Gin too, he is Aizen's second-in-command after all. He have to be stronger than all Espada.

I didn't underestimate Gin, I gave an analysis of what might happen if Hitsugaya and Gin were to have a rematch, hell I even said that this is based on what we currently know.

see what I mean, I'm not fan-girling over the fight, I just saying what I think, so don't overestimate Gin, and don't underestimate Hitsugaya, the simple fact is that we don't know what would have happen between the two of them if Hinamori and Matsumoto had not shown up during their fight, which is why Kubo had the two girls show up.

we don't know anything about Gin's ban kai, we haven't seen it or know anything about it, so you really can't say anything about it just yet.

While I do like it, it seems to stem too much from Yumichika's shikai. I'm hoping that it doesn't suck energy out because then it would be a total rip-off. It does look cool though and it must be very powerful to get Stark shaken up.

yeah, I think the attacks are way too similar, but I think that Hitsugaya's attack doesn't suck energy it more than likely continues to cool the opponent down until they eventually freeze to death. but that's just what I'm thinking.
