nah, I doubt there will be, there's not a lot of pairing fcs, and not many for zanpakutous either.

The size doesn't matter. I have seen in the other anime a guy, who is smaller and lighter than Hitsugaya, but faster than most of Bleach characters.

Anyway, I am looking forward to see how much Hitsugaya depends on Hyourinmaru. How strong can he be without his zan? It's a really interesting topic.

He is 88 cm and 24 kg old fart. In his family every male relatives tends to be short.

Thanks Icy. I dont think size matters in a fight. well it does and doesnt. Look at when he fought Gin, he had equal footing against him. well we dont know if Gin was serious or just playing with him? Still he was great. any fight hes been good in. well almost any. lol.

well, Hitsu may be a shorty, but height and weight aren't always the most determining factors in a fight, he may indeed be faster than a larger opponent, but he may also know a fighting styles that uses his stature to his advantage, such as Judo or Aki kido, so that he can use his opponent's attack and energy against them.

as far as him fighting Hyourinmaru, I think we'll see a lot more of Hitsugaya's abilities other than sword fighting, so I'm thinking that we'll see some kidou and some definite flash stepping.
