You make a very good point. Before I started reading on here, I always wondered what possible purpose there was in making Orihime's healing shield impenetrable from the inside, but that is a very keen observation. It always seemed like foreshadowing to me, and I'm glad you were able to put the pieces together for me, so to speak.

If Aizen hurts Tatsuki, much like he intends to do, Orihime will most definitely have the will to hurt him. And Santen Kesshun would be the perfect tool. I suspect it's what she planned to use on the Hogyoku anyway. Ichigo will have to shut his mouth and realise that she's the key to his victory all along.

One of the reasons I support his pairing, is that Ichigo is seen to actively care for Orihime, in ways he doesn't do for anyone else. Even after he's seen her strength, he still tries to keep her out of harms way. The main reason he fights Grimmjow, despite the many claims he should have taken the girl and run, is because Grimmjow threatens her life.

then boom.. Matsumoto rushes in with some one's arm.. and says... please bring him back... then you see Soi fon and Ishida peeking through the door before coming in along with Hachi and anyone else who lost an arm

And no, Ishida/Soi Fon is not the wackiest crack pairing I've ever seen. Try Byakuya/Kukkaku. Apparently they both like watching things go boom.
