5th Division Application Thread

**Please only post in here if you are seriously applying and have read these requirements carefully, or you are either an admin, mod, or 5th division member.**

What is the 5th division like?

We are generally easy-going, enjoy kidding around but also having serious conversations.
We prefer intellectual conversations to spam, but we still have fun.
We love music and art, and enjoy geeking out in many ways not directly related to Bleach.
We tend to have broad, healthy interests in anime and manga, and we are not fond of fanboy/fangirl behavior, using honorifics ("-san", "-sama", "-chan", etc), and overuse of emoticons.
Leet speak (1337 5p34k, etc) and excessive trolling are also frowned upon, as are inappropriately sexual conversations or other creepy behavior.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for intelligent individuals who share many of our interests but bring their own spark of uniqueness to the group.
Reflect the badass cleverness of Aizen, but preferably not his evil nature (well, not too much.)
You should have been active on the forums for long enough that we can get a good sense of what you're like: your enthusiasm, your activity level, your intelligence, your interests, and your sense of humor.
In general, that corresponds to about 150 posts and 1 month on the forum as a minimum, but don't consider that a hard limit.
If you have less than 150 posts or have been on the forum for less than a month, feel free to apply, but accept that your chances are probably not as high as if you wait a bit.

What to include in your application

a brief bio (as much/ as little info as you want)
why you want to join the 5th
why you think we should let you in
a few words or sentences on your favorite music, books, comics and anime.
It doesn't have to be an essay (don't make it tl;dr) but do cover all those things to some extent.

Would throw a shoe at Bush, but haven't got the one i threw at him the other day back yet.

alright, I'll discuss your application with the rest of the division and get back to you once we've reached a consensus. (could take a bit of time since not all members are online now, so be patient)

also, what anime have you seen besides Bleach?

Edit: I've changed the requirements slightly but it shouldn't make a difference for your application.

cowboy Bebop(one of my favs)
Ghost in a shell SAC/SAC 2nd gig and many more.

Currently watching Samaurai Champloo and Deathnote.

I'd like to apply for the 5th.

I've seen not only Bleach but also Fullmetal Alchemist, Trigun, Gundam Wing, Dragonball, Dragonball Z/GT, some of Gundam Seed, G Gundam (while back), some of Mobile Suit Gundam... I can't think of anything else lol

Applying to join, because apparently I'm easily swayed.

If the application is by what animes we've watched/watching, then, shit, man, I can't list all that. Currently reading One Piece [omfg, major catch up], watching Gokusen J-Drama, just finished Mushi-Shi, favorite anime evar is PlanetES. Man, 5 years is a long time to be in a fandom.

EDIT: Sorry 11th division. You're been dead too long and I got an invite, otherwise I would have stayed. :[

We reserve the right to deny any applicant, regardless of how well they think they meet the requirements. If we deny your application, please don't get all offended or take it personally. We're not deciding whether you're a good or bad person; we're just estimating, based on the evidence of your application and previous posts, whether your personality and sense of humor would fit in with ours. There are plenty other divisions with different styles and requirements. We of course like to claim that 5th is the best, but honestly, find one that suits you and enjoy yourself.
