The Zutara fandom is as big as ever, just not as passionate and rabid as they used to be. I hate Kataang anyways XD

I meant that as a comparison you see :o Ichigo and Rukia may have been the starting charaters, but they were/are never gonna end up togther, just like Zutara.

zutara vs. kattang was pretty brutal still wasn't as brutal as the harry potter fandom which had the biggest shipping war to ever hit the internet,pokemon was pretty bad too.

The Potter fandom o_o; was bad. But, nothing can look as bad as IR since they are diluded enough to think their ship exists. Potter had an ending Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermoine. Bleach doesn;t have that, so IR go crazy over the slightest, non-existant things

Honestly, I tend to compare Zutara more to Ulquihime than Ichiruki. Two characters that didn't have much interaction but breeded huge fanbases, aswell as atleast one person in the ship having established feelings for another (Zuko > Mai, Orihime > Ichigo), and in Zuko's case, having those feelings reciprocated. That being said, I find Zuko's redemption much more compelling than Ulquiorra's /offtopic

If we're talking fanbases, I think all 3 can be compared to eachother.

Don't bother reading the comments, they're all full of accusations of Ichihime fans twisting Bleach to make it seem like Ichigo is smitten for Orihime, pretty much what they do with Ichigo and Rukia but don't want to admit that they're wrong.

I laughed seeing as they were all squeeing over him turning into a hollow to protect Rukia in a filler but think it's wrong when he does it for Orihime in canon.

It's true :o If those IR fans were MATURE, IR would be a GREAT fandom ...mostly (since after the time skip, imo Rukia became less cute...i blame the haircut. i liked her old one a lot better. it was cuter.)

I don't think I'll ever see IR as a great fandom. It has been too tarnished by many vocal lunatics and the pairing is awful without the help of a crazed fandom. Speaking of the Avatar fandom, I find it hilarious that most of Zutara fans are now IRs and it has more of a Kataang vibe than its competitor. Older mature girl(in Rukia's case woman) who would only give immature kid a chance in the twilight zone ~~but the twilight zone became canon with Kataang. Hmm, maybe they are banking on that Avatar fact.~~
