Opinions on Death Penalty?

What are your views on Death Penalty?Should it be allowed,banned?
State arguments on why it should/shouldn't be allowed/used/banned or whatever.

I say yes, because if my wife and gets got sexually molested/raped I would want to kill the mother fucker with my own hands.

Yes. My country doesn't have the death penalty, but it should.

Some people deserve to die. Child molesters in particular. Anyone who does awful things to a child doesn't deserve a second chance. Rapists shouldn't get second chances either.
Not only should they be put to death, but it should be in a horrible painful way.

Using the death penalty for crimes that the courts would put the guy away for like 100 years is the best way to do it. It frees up space in our prisons. The only reason why people consider it wrong is because they think the man/woman won't be able to repent and such.

Lol..I guess if you add the death penalty back, and make criminals more aware. I guess it'll lower the crime rate. Some Criminals don't fear Jail, but they fear death for sure.

You think that saying you'll be put to death is going to stop a real criminal? It might stop some kid. But if you're a serial killer saying: "hey if we catch you we'll kill you" isn't going to stop anybody.

death penalty doesn't work in the usa. it costs more money for death row inmates bc of appeals and special treatment than it does to put someone in prison for life. also has been proven NOT to be a deterrent to others committing capital crimes. so no, killing someone, who might even be innocent at greater cost and no social benefit doesn't make sense. if it wasn't for texas it probably would have been made illegal a decade ago [citation needed]

(in no waydisagreeing that the world isn't better off without some people - but as a policy it fails)

and because theres a chance an inocent could be killed
Personaly i dont think anyone has to be killed to bring about less crime
I think prisons should be changed, prisoners can do loads of shit in prison and can get out if they act nice
I think all pleasentries should be stripped away from them (for the major offenders atleast) and time sentences shouldnt be shortend because it seems like they have changed

Well it's better to stop the kids who'll end up turning into serial killers.
