also the issue is an imperfect judicial system subject to bias, recall error, etc, and ultimately could convict an innocent to death. now life in prison isn't much better, but ask someone which they would prefer. there's no way to get it 100% right. death sentence is just vengeance.

no

i find death sentence the easier solution..kindof like suicide for the depressed people

if you are to live with your sins all your life in a prison where life is not actually what its suposed to be( if you can even call this life) and no real achievements as career/familly/kids , eventually you will get to feel sorry for what u did and feel this way for the rest of your life wich is huge mental punishment, and takes much more place then death

just becouse people get used to this kind of life does not make it acceptable too, and i doubt anyone would be ok with living with just meals and cable tv...

The kind of person who murders children or multiple people don't care. They don't feel any remorse. You think they give a shit about a career?
Mental punishment? They're mental to begin with that's why they chop people up.
Look at Charles Manson. He's a fucking loon.

Geepee is right, they're proud of what they've done. Brag about the horrible acts.
Everyday they're alive is another day they can think about, relive and be happy about what they've done.

You are specificaly talking about psychopaths who commited muders, rape, torture or anything that can come to mind.
And i agree that the world be a much better place without them, but as already been said and repeated killing them would cost a lot more then keeping them alive in jail and the goverment cares about the more economical solution then the one that suits the puplic.

Death penalty makes crime-committing trivial, since you'll die anyway then why not enjoy the last moments doing the thing you want. Life sentence is IMO more effective, if they aren't too old to die. Psychological torture at it's finest, provided it lasts all it's length.

Rise o' spawn of Chaos and elder night.
With these words (and by the sign of Kish), I summon Thee.
Slumbering serpent, primal and serene,
Great Old One, hearken to me!
When the stars align in the Chaosphere, then the time of awakening shall be at hand!
"When death dies, Thy time shall be, and Thou shalt sleep no more..."
"Hear me, Lord of Dreams," "Hear, Thy servant calleth Thee."
In Thy tower they have sealed ye, dead yet ever dreaming.
O' great Lord of the Deep, awaken from Thy deathly sleep.
And there fell a great star from the heavens burning,
Older than the Sphinx or Babylon.
O' Mighty One, Lord and Master of the great abyss!
"Give forth Thy sign that I may know Thy will upon the earth..."
"Grant me the power to still the waves that I may hear Thy call."
"In His house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming."
"Yet He shall rise, and His kingdom shall cover the earth!"

Child molesters and brutal/ mass murderers. But the court would have to be 100% sure.

I agree 100% with the death penalty for personnel reasons. but I agree with child molestors being put on death row along with rapists when someone does something like that they deserve to die I wish they still had the Guillotine or firing squads.

Death Penalty? No. Why? Well, it's quite simple. I prefer Prison for life without grace, without the option to be set free because of well conduct. It's more painful than Death Penalty.

If the one who did so many bad thing and he's or she's a horrible human being, then what the... if you kill them, you will just erase them from the Planet and they are done for it, they won't suffer anymore, they won't repent about what they did and it kinda pisses me off.

I don't think Death Penalty is an option. We are not to decide that and anyways they get too easy with that. Prison for life without grace it's far more better and painful and they just deserve that, rapists and mooncalf killers and such.
