I get what you are saying, but I think it's up to the author (Kubo) to make sure that every arc is good and enjoyable, if the author doesn't do that then it is bad story telling. Kubo shouldn't need to create this low point to make the next arc seem more special, every arc should be special really.

I use the term to refer to kubo's plot formula. The greenbook (though i don't know the specifics) was directly/indirectly created by ghadaffi as his people's faith.

so apparently he needed a few more weeks, so he tossed out another conclusion to buy himself more time. or something.

either way, it's annoying that kubo seems incapable of sticking to what he says. troll on, sweet prince. troll on.

edit: ah. just reread it. he said "climax". i guess he planned on this all along and considers those two chapters the climax of the arc. welp.
