I can't wait to see what Asuma's new wind jutsu looks like.
Same here. I just hope they can capture Asuma without having to hurt him too badly, and then find a way to reverse the effects of the jutsu. It doesn't seem like they know how to do it, though.
lol asuma wind justsu.........should be epic.
THere is a simple reason why Naruto will not get the Rinnegan and subsequently any other eye jutsu/technique/type and that is because of the story that Madara told us of, the story of the origins of the war between the Uchiha descendants and the Senju descendants. ...
The upcoming Naruto and Sasuke battle will be made to play our the "Destined" fight between the Uchiha and the Senju, just as Madara and the 1st Hokage did. All conditions have been cleard. By that i mean Sasuke has attained the EMS, and has grown to be just as hateful as Madara was when he left the Hidden Leaf. Also Naruto has obtained the Kyuubi just as the 1st also attained it eventually for his battle against Madara.
Madara said that the two brothers had distinct gifts, the one having powerful ocular jutsus and great spiritual energy while the younger brother had physical strength and some other stuff i can't remember too well. Just re-read the corresponding chapter or watch 203-205 i'm sure it will be talked about in the coming episodes. And they battled with their set gifts as it were.
Hence i know for sure that he will not get any of the eyes. Notice how everything that Naruto trains with has to do with physical energy...
Yes yes i know, wrong thread, but still any thoughts?
Nice, action packed chapter. Kabutomaru got an up yours once again.
Yeah, I'd say you're right. If Kishi does care about this similarity he's drawn between Madara and Sasuke and Hashirama and Naruto, then we know that Naruto wouldn't be getting any kind of doujutsu at all.
But yeah, the chapter was great, and I'm glad that another of the "zombies" just got sealed (Hanzou). But how many people actually saw this coming? That Hanzou had had a sort of change of heart?
Yeah, I sure didn't see that coming. Very good chapter. Nice way to end this fight.
Next battle : Ino-Shika-Cho vs Asuma ? Sounds good to me.
I like the way Hanzo just gave Kabuto the finger in the end.
What is this, the happy-go-lucky point out the obvious thread. Shikamaru fighting is a good thing.
Shikamaru fighting asuma is a bad and boring thing. He already possesses the resolve after getting back at hidan, facing asuma isn't affecting him and isn't going to affect him in the least. Chouji having a personal battle disinterest me the most, nearly as much as seeing asumas wind jutsu. I'd rather see what tenten is getting up to with that banana fan.
Hanzou vs mifune was alright, decent in the way it ended, but all these battles ending so quickly just makes this "hax" jutsu seem more and more lame as time goes by.
Wait reverse asumas death?? gahdammit BI.
I never said anything about reversing Asuma's death, did I? But damn, you sure you don't want to see Asuma's Wind Jutsu?
Nice chapter. I liked the quote by Hanzo: People’s lives don’t end when they die. It ends when they lose their faith. I never expected him to more or less break free from Kabuto's control. That was interesting.
The battle between Asuma and his students started out good. I'm looking forward to see more of Asuma's abilities.
Yeah, same here. Especially his new Wind Jutsu.

Yea but kabutos control wasnt iron clad because he allowed Hanzo to have free will. He tried to make him a puppet too late. Becaue he assumed he was evil. But i thought we learned that with Sasori and now he was gonna fix that. But he still has people not full puppet.
obviously asuma will be though cause hes a good guy.
Awesome chapter, lets hope asuma kicked choji out of the comic so I don't have to see his lame obese ass anymore.
That's true. I guess the most surprising part was to find out Hanzo was not such a bad guy after all. He wasn't as villain-like as I thought.
I hope Chouji pulls himself together and show his skills. He's got it in him at least. He was awesome during the Sasuke retrieval arc.
Great chapter! It really showed why Hanzou is such a legend. I never understood why they would let Pein kill such a honorable ninja though. Kuboto's a bum for trying to make Hanzou a puppet. I bet he'll do something in the middle of the war to increase his control over ninja's better. Maybe he'll do that with Hizashi or the kage's.
Choji lets his emotion's get the best out of him and now Asuma uses his specialty element. At one point, I actually thought they was going to end this fight with Choji's fist in Asuma's face but I'm glad it didn't end that way.
I kind of thought that Konahamaru should show up to help them with Asuma given the relation.
That would be great if that happens but I don't think Konohamaru would want to see his uncle in the state that he's in.
